Exposé

Those outer shines and looks
Shielding the secretive inner side,
The sweet sounding talks
The unhappy self deep that hide,
Unambiguous eyes that weep
Even an onlooker such as me,
The  frustrated emptiness
From across and far can see.

Truth versus power

Truth and knowledge, behold,
The world of power dies to own;
 Bearers thereof exiled apiece,
Haunted they live by chase and frown.
When power imposes truth,
For lust and greed for more power,
Not so much for truth's sake,
That ushers in a new era, of downfall,
For the power in hand is at stake.
An empire  of arrogance built on sand,
In  murky, shaky environs of  muddy clay,
When withered away by winds of change,
Imminent, shall it 'stand a rainy day?
An empire built on knowledge,
Truth known for truth's sake,
It doesn't crack or run aflood,
Nor stumble, nor twist nor shake.

Change of change

In times of bad you made it worse,
In times of worse you made it bad,
Is this back to square one again in vain,
Or the change you wished you had?
Is this the change defied by the fool and wise
Divided by little details that be,
Or the culmination of a courageous move
By those the bigger picture who see?

Irresolute

Decide it right and decide it now,
Time and chance wait for none,
Idle your precious life away in fear,
Or risk it all in the run.
Idle it away and it's a waste
Not worth the long dull wait ahead,
Or to risk it out by choice decide,
Enjoy the ride or you might be dead.
When I am more resolute than not,
I see more life in life,
And believe it or not when I loiter,
I feel stabbed in the heart by knife.

Democrarchy

From father to son by coup,
Then to grandson by blood[y] choice
"Democracy" in action,
People of Qatar rejoice!
Tell the truth to yourselves,
Or should you, for naïveté's sake,
Simple, honest answers for your head
 No Sophie's choice to make!
Slave to a family at best,
As long as you swim in paper money,
Any rational questions of free men,
Or grievances of unfreedom, if any?!

Standstill

Everyone goes in, goes out
Everyday, by choice, by desire,
But not so true if the more equal
In the "all-equal" society transpire.
Live by it, like it or like it not,
No matter how important you think you do,
Stay away from work or life
When the president comes through.
Go to hell or stay away,
You're not important anyway.

A brand new world in a brand new day

A new realization of life
A new beginning in a new day,
That is the benchmark of learning,
The happy, successful learner's way.
The  vanity and travesty of justice,
And the cruelty at large in the world,
Through the looking glass of the day,
They are much easier done than told.
This is the world, these are the facts I know,
From the lessons of days foregone,
And here I am, today, learning,
A new realization of me be born.
