The Meaning of Life

In some form of form or idea,
My  existence did predate,
This current stint on Earth,
As a semi-dictated state.
I was not consulted at conception,
And never was I told at birth;
Yet took the challenge with a cynical cry,
Of this chanceful life on earth.
Hard I worked since, day in day out,
A new journey started with a new plan,
To make my sojourn a happy one,
And keep me live for long I can.
I scrambled for meaning and goal,
And so long I lived, happy or sad;
Thankful of that fateful whole,
And never blaming mam and dad.
But that imminent collapse of life,
That other unknown, dictated state,
Keeps me heavy in the heart,
Questioning my lively fate.

Brickbats

Oh, fellow human, naïve and pure,
It was all in vain hard you fought;
For all the final things that  count,
Are not the goodies you brought;
But the little misdeeds in your name,
And nothing of which you thought.
If good you do for goodness' sake,
'Cos a good deed betters the bad;
Ignore the badmouth  in your back,
And the approvals you never had.

Tempus fugit [2]

Many a time, so many a run
How many times have I done,
All for life's only sake,
How many of these a mistake?
What is but life than living,
What is it in life too bad,
Isn't what is than what is not
The life that we have had?
There are no mistakes in life
I hear, only errors to mend
The paths that take to life
And keep  as far its end.

All but words

All is for long said and done,
But maybe not in words plain;
What is more there in words said,
Than actions that never feign?

Twinkle

Shine at night as at day, little star,
Send me your lively spark;
Twinkle for me near and far,
So I won't be kept in the dark.
Shrink the space in between,
And let the time stretch to last;
Fill the void with twinkle field,
Twinkle now, and twinkle fast!
Bend the space on to itself,
And freeze the time for all I care;
But source yourself for evermore,

And twinkle, twinkle twinkle dare!

Injuria naturalis

Life is perfect I cannot say
Due little things that abound,
Like when deep in seventh heaven
And my darling is not around.
Life is perfect for life's sake
But not always fair,
Like when I depart my other self
And all alone in the air.
Nature is fair I cannot say
When 'could have been another way;
With all the time the cosmos be
Why not us long, but die should we?
Nature is perfect I cannot say
Due things I see that bug,
Like when the selfish attack the kind
And sweep them under the rug.
Nature is kind I cannot say
For all it takes, it does not give;
As  if by some tyrannical decree

Some must die for some to live.

Up in the air

Up in the air, packed  in a box,
Cruising  across the skies,
I looked  down at mighty earth
With my fleshy and mortal eyes;
I realized my mortal self,
Hanging in balance in thin air,
But wonedered how little, if,
To our cherished lives we care!
