I am the captain of a surviving soul,
Aboard a capsized ship of life,
Distorted and destroyed,
Hostage of circumstances
Of rocks and waves in the void.
I am a hostage of partiality,
A distorted global image,
But I am the captain of my ownself
With unflinching courage;
I shall sail through the storms,
With no haven in sight,
Amidst the high roaring seas,
A Utopia find I might.
Aboard a capsized ship of life,
Distorted and destroyed,
Hostage of circumstances
Of rocks and waves in the void.
I am a hostage of partiality,
A distorted global image,
But I am the captain of my ownself
With unflinching courage;
I shall sail through the storms,
With no haven in sight,
Amidst the high roaring seas,
A Utopia find I might.
