I am a lone passenger in a lone ship,
In the ebb and flow of the sea;
I am the captain who stirs the wheels,
And the ocean, the life, is me.
I rise, I fall, I swim or drown,
The success is ours, the fault my own.
I am a traveller in life,
And the life is mine to lead;
I am the ship who carries me-both,
And the ocean in whom I tread.
In search of me, by me, through me,
Up and running on a long trail;
I am the passenger, captain-on-ship,
And the destination to which I sail.
In the ebb and flow of the sea;
I am the captain who stirs the wheels,
And the ocean, the life, is me.
I rise, I fall, I swim or drown,
The success is ours, the fault my own.
I am a traveller in life,
And the life is mine to lead;
I am the ship who carries me-both,
And the ocean in whom I tread.
In search of me, by me, through me,
Up and running on a long trail;
I am the passenger, captain-on-ship,
And the destination to which I sail.
