Away but here

Miles and miles apart,
Only in body and limb,
But inches and inches close,
In mind, heart and dream.
So far like the stars,
Yet like the cosmos so close,
Part me in every world,
Sweet in every dose!
I know not what, without thee,
My life would have looked,
But now forever and ever more,
I have it with thee booked.
Forever grow, my universe,
Forever shine, my sweet star,
Let the forces of love tremble,
For love's sake, near or far.
