Nostalgia

I slipped you under my arm
But I meant to do you no harm;
It was just too much I did you care,
And left no love for  me to spare,
That I but made a grave mistake
So all be good for all your sake;
But now alien, far a yonder,
That you lie under an arm,
You left me with nostalgia,
And that does me many a harm.

Least in the list

What is the least you can do
To the people around you,
No less to those who so much care,
Those your life who want to share?
Isn't the global of all minima,
To those who wish you best you find,
To do them no harm in life
If not to do them best in kind?

Putinocracy

Muscle might put to the test
Rationality put on hold,
Human dignity up for fate
Wars fought hot and cold;
Patriotism for vanity
Set in auction for those that bid,
Nations sold in broad daylight,
Weapons 'massed in every breed:
Soldiers in file, set to fire
Awaiting the papal call,
To annex a land by trigger
To subject or shoot 'em all.

Farther, greener

We saw it afar, and deemed it rare,
We saw it near, and knew it bare;
This is the price we we have to pay,
As humans, we have no par,
In seeing pastures across, afield
Always green, and greener fa'r.
