Master vs Slave

My sanity, your little gift,
My suffering, your big thrift;
My happiness, your little wish,
My freedom, your slack leash.
Your comfort is my sole duty,
Your misfortunes, oh my pity!
Your desires, all my command,
And to your safety, I stand!
My very existence is your choice,
What's  there for me to rejoice?

Africry

You came begging for a crumb,
Into my little house made of grass;
I being kind -you taking me for dumb-
Offered a stay till the rains pass.
You being shrewd with petty desire,
With so little but humanly shame,
Setting my grassy house on fire,
Built monuments by your name.
You invited guests
And built your empires,
You enslaved me
To your heart's desires...
You made me pay
For my kind nature,
And let me scavenge
Like the vulture...
In places you now call home
I was but one day your host,
The least you could do was be a neighbor
If humble thanks were too much a cost!
