Standstill

Everyone goes in, goes out
Everyday, by choice, by desire,
But not so true if the more equal
In the "all-equal" society transpire.
Live by it, like it or like it not,
Now matter how important you think you do,
Stay away from work or life
When the president comes through.
Go to hell or stay away,
You're not important anyway.

  1. Hello,
You are not important anyway...I like that, St. Thomas Aquinas anchored part of his theory on this, before he then concludes that there must be an important being.

  2. Should I then be diminished to zero in the eye of a president? Aquinas was talking about a deity, I suppose, in which case he is wrong ;)
