The world as bright

The world is a wondrous place
It endures all love and hate,
Against all odds of natural laws,
And against all odds of fate.
Even more so does the world
Have less issues that divide than bind,
To the more considerate and less bellicose
It reciprocates more in kind.

The butterfly effect

Those little wings flapping
In far far away worlds of a butterfly:
They could have changed the kinematics of the planet
And the dynamics of the air in its sky;
Which could have triggered me 'write this piece
Rather than  read a book,
Or the failure in Mandela's health
And the  carnage in Sandy Hook.
Or the sudden upsurge of wealth in China
While Europe in austerity woes,
Or the long-winding plunge in wars
Of Middle Eastern sectarian foes.
More than just a beautiful insect
The butterfly on the next flower,
It makes more other flowers to blossom
That call for  more rain-shower.
It makes the oceans dry,
Or swell up in tide,
And orders the stars to shine
Or the galaxies to collide.
This legendary butterfly
With colorful wings that flutter,
May it make more chaos and order
Than make its own bread and butter?

Nothing to buy from the talkshop

The dictators club at last
Fests a fifty-year ride,
An egomaniac journey
With dictatorship as supreme guide;
Clad with ironies of celebrations
For the freedom and love of peace
While helping suspects-cum- genociders
Evade the law than face justice.
The dictators club talks of peace,
But peace for whom, if ask I may,
They preach about human rights
When humans are jailed away,
For no other crimes than demanding
For their natural right to have a say.
A half century talk of unity
In self- divided clubs of nations,
How try fool a billion people,
Via empty speeches at talk-stations?
I find nothing, your excellencies
From your empty talk-shops but lie,
Which no matter how cheap, never
The poor you impoverished ever should buy.
I find you fake, your excellencies,
Too selfish to lend your ears,
To the people you purport to stand,
Too the people that live in fears!

Sleepless nights

Noisy lousy days, distractions galore
With little help to do a right,
With end of it comes end of work
Just before the quiet of night...
No right as rightly done,
As would tell you the norm,
Useless exodus to work at day,
Ironic but true to form.
But just after  noisy lousy days are gone,
Creep in nights with fresh breeze,
Turn the reflective mode of  mind  and run
Lonesome, sleepless times of work to seize.

Into the blue sky

Off  into  the blue sky
By the flying machine you go,
Waving farewell to  earth-bound love
More chained in love than ever so;
But with wings of thought
Faster than a  plane that fly,
I've reached your destination
Before your hug and kiss of 'bye.

Egsupia

A great civilization in aeons prior,
One people, one land, since times long,
Connected by a river of blood and life,
Adorned by the might of eternal song;
Outlive these greedy times,
These  competitions of petty  power,
Watch out for the torrential flood,
And not the fight over desert shower.
Close the chapters of suspicion
See past artificial borders of greed,
Harmonize with the Nile, for good,
And its  people it knows how to feed.

Thanks, Mother!

In the heydays of success and joy
And when spirits apart are torn,
Hail to the kindness in you
To the good will in having me born;
Hail for the smiles shone,
In times of happiness  and gloom
Thanks for the tears you shed,
Since my first day in the womb;
Thanks for the way you cared,
To keep me healthy and fed,
And for taking me to school
So I would be a well-bred.
Thanks for the concern and love
At moments I am a distance away,
Forever hail to your existence,
What more else can I say?
If high and low I search for words
Or promises of reciprocity make I,
I can never make it up the same,
Only the tiniest bit I will try.

For the love of None

Love me more than none,
I asked you many a time,
But then you thought I committed
Many an infidel's grave crime!
But love me more , more than the none,
That you have been stuck with, all this long;
Away to none, all night, all day,
What is it that I did wrong?!
In my defence I did nothing,
To offend your none in heaven or hell,
Guilty as charged if I erred,
Find out, none can tell!

Dark Energy

A hidden treasure of cosmic kind,
That we so passionately hate,
An illusory run away of worlds,
Or a whole new level of energy state?
A big brother of dark matter,
A yet another dark side,
Lost in a hide-and-seek
In intergalactic ride?
Using the wrong physics, at the wrong time,
In a changing world of awe,
Or too simple a model we use,
In the more complex universe we know?
Or what is in store to your mystery,
'Part in our ignorance you pride,
At these doldrums of  knowledge,
Tell us anything,  bona fide;
So we,  from all theories  possible,
Let the data  on one decide!

You choose what I should think, I become what you think

Idiots at the gate, of my wide open mind,
A pleasant visit, with thoughts so kind:
Their choreographed laws to impose
And the consequences of denial to remind;
By idiosyncracies to rule,
The open doors of free thought to slam behind.
By the barrel of the gun to scare,
To incarcerate by royal decree,
To choose what I should think,
To reformulate what I be.
