Assaditis

A sickened mind in an egoist's head
Drives millions out from home,
And leaves scores of thousands dead,
Of a yet uncurable Assad Syndrome.
No quacks and witches of love,
No physicians trained thus far,
Could put endangered millions safe,
And bring back the lost children of war.
No hospitals could be built,
No preventions let be taken,
Because the safe groundworks are spoiled,
And the pillars of hope are down shaken.
From neighbourly homes to aid,
No nurses and doctors arrive,
Because the returns are too little,
The risk of Assaditis not worth the strive.
They will come much later in the day-
The good samaritans are kind-
To clean up the good spoils of war,
The victims in their deathbeds left behind.

The dumber the better

In a corrupt world,
The better is the bad,
And worse is always better than good,
Forgive the irony of language we just have had,
But that is the bitter truth of humanhood.
And the dumber, the better
Seemingly too silly to understand;
This is the hypocrisy of humanity,
Such is the paradox of this
Human infested land.

Little power

Little powers of little things,
We seldom do realize,
They are the ones that often do,
Bigger things that surprise.
Little things of little power,
If we take notes of them all,
They are the hidden treasures of change
And the ones that roll the ball.

The feather syndrome

You and I, humans at best,
Maybe not birds of a feather,
Do you think we can fly as high,
As we can flock together?
Can we flock as birds alone,
Not as birds of a kind,
Or is there no chance of a crazy world,
That is feather-type blind?
In my mind, I know,
As far, high as we want we soar,
But in your "heart" I think,
The more "chosen" feather flies the more.

Habemus Papam!

So much frenzy, so much noise
So much details of papal brass;
Votes and coronations of unreason,
"Habemus papam" chants of mass.
Myths of sky-wise men
Vested in powers that be;
To lead the misleadings of gullibble men
And to blindfold the ones that see.
Habemus papam, in Sancta Sedes
Ululate, people of faith rise,
Derationalize your thinking self
And follow the paths of Pope the Wise.
Follow with no grain of doubt,
Or shall your enslaved 'soul' burn in 'hell',
For the wraths of a dictating 'God'
In 'his' earthly deputy also dwell.
